β To me, acting is a form honesty. Our job as actors is to breathe life into our performances by being ingrained in the true essence of the moment. Itβs funny, acting is the only profession in the world were you as the actor are not supposed to be doing what your job is entailed. Meaning, when you're acting you want to be being the character and not acting like the character. This can be scary because you are emotionally and physically exposed to the moment. Acting is an internal switch, when you are on stage you are that character. That way your performances are sound, real, and honest. That is life, that is creation, that is honesty, that is art, that is acting. β
